Just a quickie! ooooo

Ello again peeps! it's ya maain men dan & Jess comin' at ya from da library!

Just practising a bit more of our new cool lingo. After listening to girl night on Rossland FM last night. It was fantastic as you can imagine, with some real deep issues raised..

It basically consisted of two girls (with the combined I.Q of a peanut shell) a mac book (you could here the "pips" as they struggled to turn up the volume on a song they were playing at the time!)
or as Jess calls it "one of those i mac thingys!"

However it wasnt all doom and gloom, they discussed relationships and how if you need space with your partner then its perfectly fine to just turn around and say ' hey, i don't want to have to spend today with you" and for that to be fine! I found this very funny and used it today with Jess... who gave me a left hook.

Today was another day at the hill... and my first contact with Red mountain itself. Which can only be described as scary! But soo much fun. It starts off with the oldest lift in the world designed for skiers and certainly not for anyone wanting to strap one leg to a piece of wood.

after the steep long accent youre dropped off on the steepest drop off from a lift i have ever encountered! James and Matthew watch out for this! It's either very fun or very bad : )

I found my riding to be super sketchy (or maybe it was my nerves) coming down the steep face.
We had about 2-3 hours then hitched back to Rossland with Dave, a nice Canadian skier 'ayyyy' who promptyl picked us up and dropped us right by the door.

We have just had a look in Rossvegas (one of the local cool board shops) for Jesskis new beanie, but it wasnt to be and we left empty handed.

Preparations for the winter festival thing are well underway now. They are preparing the next street to ours for the bob slep and jump competition with signs, railings, huge snow blocks and last but not least snow! It should be alot of fun and the festivaties commence this friday :)
At least now we will have some way of filling our evenings instead of sat on the sofa watching Jess read her endless supply of books!

As you can see we are in the library again and after this its of to the shop to buy chocolate milk, fruit and water (which we are now collecting the empty bottles in our window to look like rebelious teenagers!)... at least im sure its water bottles you need??
We like to walk up and down the isles looking longingly at the appletiser drinks (but 15.99!!) maybe when we're millonaires!!!!!!! mentalness.
